October 14 is National Chess Day

First celebrated on October 9, 1976 after a proclamation by President Gerald Ford, National Chess Day is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the game of chess. Maybe, some people who have not previously been engaged with chess might join a worldwide community of hundreds of millions of people.
