Chess has the unique ability to promote thinking about thinking! We aim for the students to gain confidence in their abilities by focusing on developing deep chess knowledge while not forgetting the secret power of chess: Having great fun while training your brain.
My eight year-old daughter started playing chess last year. The progress she's made so far is truly amazing. She has evolved from a beginner learning the basic chess moves to a thoughtful, emotionally and mentally resilient thinker. As a parent, I can't be more proud of Anna! I strongly believe that she owes her success in large part to the wonderful trainers at LHoC.
